'The Adam Project': Ryan Reynolds Gives A First Look At Upcoming Netflix Sci-Fi Comedy

Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve heard quite a bit about the new Netflix sci-fi comedy film, “The Adam Project.” With Ryan Reynolds starring and Shawn Levy directing, there was already anticipation surrounding the film. However, recent casting announcements have made “The Adam Project” one of the most anticipated features of next year. And on Twitter, Reynolds has finally given folks a first look at the film.

In a post on social media, Reynolds tweeted, “Finished our first week on The Adam Project. In addition to taking these two photos, @netflix will be happy to know we also shot some of the film. Happy to be back in the sturdy arms of my friend, life coach and director, @ShawnLevyDirect.”

In addition to his tweet, he included a couple of pictures showing the first look at “The Adam Project,” which reportedly has a pretty ambitious premise. The film is said to follow Reynolds’ character as he travels back in time to team with the younger version of himself to help save their physicist dad and prevent experimental technology from falling into the wrong hands.

As mentioned, the film is directed by Shawn Levy, who worked with Reynolds on the upcoming film “Free Guy.” Joining the actor in the cast are Zoe Saldana, Jennifer Garner, Mark Ruffalo, Catherine Keener, Walker Scobell, and Alex Millari, Jr. Scobell can be seen in the picture with Reynolds, as he plays the younger Adam. Keener is expected to be the villain, while Ruffalo portrays Adam’s dad.

“The Adam Project” has yet to land a release date, but with filming underway, it’s safe to assume Netflix will release the feature sometime in 2021. You can see the tweet and new photos below.
