‘The Last Frontier’ Trailer: Jason Clarke Stars In Alaskan Frontier Thriller This Fall On Apple TV+

Need a new thriller series to watch this Fall? Apple TV+ has an intriguing option in “The Last Frontier,” starring Jason Clarke, who may be on the cusp of a career resurgence with this show, Kathryn Bigelow‘s “A House Of Dynamite,” and the limited series “Murdaugh: Death In The Family,” all out this Fall.

Clarke stars in the series as a US Marshal who leads a hunt for escaped convicts in the Alaskan wilderness.

Here’s an official synopsis for “The Last Frontier,” courtesy of Apple TV+:

The Last Frontier follows Frank Remnick (Clarke), the lone U.S. marshal in charge of the quiet, rugged barrens of Alaska. Remnick’s jurisdiction is turned upside-down when a prison transport plane crashes in the remote wilderness, setting free dozens of violent inmates. Tasked with protecting the town he’s vowed to keep safe, he begins to suspect the crash wasn’t an accident, but the first step of a well-crafted plan with far-reaching and devastating implications.

Along with Clarke, the series also stars Dominic Cooper, Haley Bennett, Simone Kessell, Dallas Goldtooth, Tait Blum, and Alfre Woodard.

Jon Bokenkamp and Richard D’Ovidio serve as writers on “The Last Frontier,” and also executive produce the series with Clarke, Laura Benson, Glenn Kessler, Albert Kim, and episodic director Sam Hargrave. The show is a co-production between Apple Studios and Pickpocket Entertainment.

“The Last Frontier” premieres on Apple TV+ on October 10 with two episodes, with new episodes premiering through December 5 for the show’s ten-episode run. Watch a trailer for the thriller series below.
