'The Midnight Club' Teaser: The Creators Of 'Haunting Of Hill House' Return With A New Netflix Horror Series

Filmmaker Mike Flanagan really has found his niche on Netflix, hasn’t he? After the success of “Haunting Of Hill House,” he’s gone on to create “Haunting of Bly Manor” and “Midnight Mass,” both of which were just as big as his first show. And now, he’s back for a fourth series, “The Midnight Club.”

As seen in the teaser for “The Midnight Club,” the show is primarily about a group of eight young people who meet each night to tell scary stories. But in addition to the scary stories they enjoy sharing, the group also looks to find evidence of supernatural phenomena. And let’s be honest, considering this is developed by Flanagan, we’re going to guess there are some supernatural scares afoot.

The ensemble cast includes Iman Benson, Adia, Igby Rigney, Ruth Codd, Aya Furukawa, Annarah Shephard, William Chris Sumpter, Sauriyan Sapkota, and Heather Langenkamp. The latter is probably best known for her run as a Scream Queen in the “Nightmare on Elm Street” film franchise.

“The Midnight Club” is set to arrive on Netflix on October 7. Just in time for Halloween! You can watch the teaser below:

Here’s the synopsis:

To those before.

To those after.

To us now.

And to those beyond.

Seen or unseen.

Here but not here.

At a manor with a mysterious history, the 8 members of the Midnight Club meet each night at midnight to tell sinister stories – and to look for signs of the supernatural from the beyond. Based on the beloved Christopher Pike book series, and brought to life by the creators of The Haunting of Hill House.
