Watch: 4 New Clips From Bong Joon-Ho's Berlin Bound 'Snowpiercer'

Snowpiercer

While the Weinsteins may have angled to keep “Snowpiercer” from TIFF, they won’t be preventing it from screening next week at the Berlin Film Festival. Of course, Bong Joon-Ho‘s apocalyptic, train-set thriller has already opened in a handful of international territories, but not yet in the ones controlled by Harv and co., so it will still be something fresh for many of the press and audience members in Berlin. And as we continue to patiently wait for some sign of a release date on U.S. soil, four new clips have landed for the flick.

As you know, the film is based on the graphic novel of the same name, detailing the revolution that brews on a passenger train carrying the sole survivors of a freak event that has turned Earth into a wintery wasteland that can no longer sustain life. And you thought the polar vortex was bad. As you’ll see in the scenes below, Chris Evans leads the tide of the those crammed into the squalid conditions in the back of the train to the more luxurious environs in the first class cars up front.

It’s visionary and thrilling stuff, as our review from last fall declared, and hopefully it won’t be too long until this lands in theaters stateside. Watch below. [ONTD]
