With the U.S. elections coming up and providing their own form of comedy, we’ll need all the relief we can get, and HBO is stepping up. They’ve already got the political laffer "Veep," they’re adding to their slate with "The Brink," and a new trailer for the first season is here.

Jack Back and Tim Robbins lead the ensemble of the show which tracks the efforts of a bunch of bumbling suits, soldiers, and agents in the field as they try to avert the next World War. Jay Roach ("Meet The Parents," "The Campaign") directed the pilot and is an executive producer of the show, and as you can see, the results are quite broad, though not necessarily gut busting.
Also featuring Pablo Schreiber, Aasif Mandvi, Maribeth Monroe, Eric Ladin, Esai Morales, and Geoff Pierson, "The Brink" arrives on June 21st. Watch below.
