"You're Not Batman Anymore": New TV Spot For 'The Dark Knight Rises'

nullYou hear that sound in the distance? That sinister rumbling that quickens the pulse and raises goosebumps? It's the Warner Bros. marketing department beginning to leg out the final stretch for the campaign for "The Dark Knight Rises," and after two TV spots last week, a third has now arrived, giving a glimpse of even more footage from the film. And that's not all — the carefully planned/embargoed set visits and interviews from various outlets also landed online over the weekend with more bits and bobs spilling out.

"It will explore the pain that Bruce Wayne has been running from and his motivation. His chase after the bad guys in his heroic act and it is something very exciting, however Bruce, the Casanova, is a pure facade, a lie. Only Alfred knows his true self. The time has come to face the pain from the great loss that has always affected his life," Christian Bale explained to the Spanish edition of Rolling Stone. He adds about Batman's arsenal of weapons, "Everything Bruce Wayne gets is believable; a man should be able to do it. Bruce uses perception, psychology, and martial arts. Anyone of us can pull it off."

And while this has long been said to be the very last Batman movie from everyone involved, Bale does keep the door slightly open: “No, this is the last of this Batman era. Unless Nolan wants to do another."
