”Lars and the Real Girl,” and “I, Tonya” filmmaker Craig Gillespie directs the upcoming thriller series “The Bad Sister.” Jessica Biel and Elizabeth Banks star as two estranged sisters who are forced together after one of their husbands is murdered. Corey Stoll, Gabriel Sloyer, and Kim Dickens also star.

Based on the book series by Jussi Adler-Olsen, the series was adapted for Netflix by Scott Frank. Matthew Goode stars as a detective charged with setting up a cold case unit of misfit officers tasked with cracking seemingly impossible cases. Kelly Macdonald and Chloe Pirrie also star.
