HBO Has 3 More 'Game Of Thrones' Spinoffs In Development

It’s pretty crazy to think about all of the “Game of Thrones” spinoffs that HBO has been in some sort of development on since the finale of the series aired. And with one spinoff already set to go into production in a month or so, “House of the Dragon,” it appears that HBO isn’t slowing down with the development of potential new shows to continue the ‘Thrones’ legacy.

According to Variety, HBO is currently developing three new spinoffs for “Game of Thrones.” One of them is titled, “Sea Snake,” which comes from writer-producer Bruno Heller (“Rome”). This series tells the story of Lord Corlys Velaryon, the head of House Velaryon and the person in command of the world’s largest navy and wealth that is more than even the Lannisters.

The second show in development is “Flea Bottom,” which follows the story of the seedier area of King’s Landing and was shown briefly over the course of “Game of Thrones.” Then finally, there’s “10,000 Ships,” which follows Princess Nymeria on her journey to Dorne, where she married into House Martel. Both of these shows don’t currently have a writer attached.

As mentioned, this is just added to the list of spinoffs that HBO has been desperately developing to keep the “Game of Thrones” popularity going. When the series first ended, the network reportedly had five spinoffs in some sort of development, with one going to pilot. That pilot was eventually passed on and the network announced “House of the Dragon.” Then, recently, it was announced there is actually an adult animated series and a series based on the “Dunk and Egg” stories in development as well.
