A seven-minute prologue for Christopher Nolan‘s “Dunkirk” will unspool before you are whisked off to a galaxy far, far away. While Slashfilm posits the preview will only be in the select IMAX cinemas showing ‘Rogue One’ on 70mm, Trailer Track says it hasn’t been determined yet how this will roll out. However, it should be noted that previous preview prologue for “The Dark Knight” was in front of “I Am Legend” on all IMAX screens, while for “The Dark Knight Rises,” the preview of the airplane sequence was only in cinemas showing 70mm prints of “Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol.” So this could wind up in either direction.

Regardless, a much more substantial glimpse of “Dunkirk” is coming, which is exciting in any regard. And if history is any measure, Nolan is going to deliver another helluva sequence to get us ready for his next movie.

“Dunkirk” arrives on July 21, 2017.
