Oh hey, check it out, a first look at the early contender for worst film of 2013. I mean… it's a first look photo of perennial arrestee Lindsay Lohan and human punchline Charlie Sheen, the ultimate Hollywood hookup, in their "outrageous, sexy and hilarious opening scene" in the upcoming Dimension Film "Scary Movie 5."
Dear lord, why. Why? Maybe because the "Scary Movie" franchise has grossed $429 million to date with none of the films ever having a budget over $50 million. Not amazing numbers (wait, why do these movies need to cost $40-some million?), but apparently good enough. And they probably continue to rake in money on DVD/cable/VOD etc. Due April 19, 2013, "Scary Movie 5" also stars actors from the has been pile like Ashley Tisdale, Kate Walsh, Molly Shannon, Heather Locklear and Craig Bierko. WHEN CAN WE BUY TICKETS!?
We shouldn't judge. Everyone's got to eat. And sometimes eating means starring in brutally horrible movies.
