The gods aren’t done with Percy Jackson yet. Disney+ has released the official trailer for the second season of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians,” setting sail into new mythological chaos with ‘The Sea of Monsters’ adaptation. The series returns December 10 on Disney+ and Hulu with a two-episode premiere, followed by weekly episodes every Wednesday.

Created by Rick Riordan and Jonathan E. Steinberg, the new season dives deeper into the demigods’ world as Camp Half-Blood’s magical border falls and Percy embarks on a dangerous odyssey to recover the Golden Fleece and rescue his best friend, Grover. With Annabeth, Clarisse, and his cyclops half-brother Tyson at his side, Percy faces new monsters, old enemies, and an even greater threat from Luke, Kronos, and the unraveling of Olympus itself.
The cast includes Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri, Charlie Bushnell, Dior Goodjohn, and Daniel Diemer, alongside guest stars Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jason Mantzoukas, Glynn Turman, Timothy Simons, Virginia Kull, Courtney B. Vance, Andra Day, Adam Copeland, Sandra Bernhard, Margaret Cho, Kristen Schaal, Tamara Smart, Rosemarie DeWitt, and Toby Stephens.
Season 2 is executive produced by Steinberg and Dan Shotz, with Rick Riordan, Rebecca Riordan, Craig Silverstein, and The Gotham Group’s Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Bert Salke, Jeremy Bell, and D.J. Goldberg, along with James Bobin, Jim Rowe, Albert Kim, Jason Ensler, and Sarah Watson.
A new companion Percy Jackson and the Olympians Official Podcast will launch alongside the season, offering behind-the-scenes stories and episode breakdowns across Disney+, Hulu, YouTube, and major podcast platforms.
