Got a Tip?

First Look At ‘Human Centipede 3 (Final Sequence),’ Director Says It Won’t Be “As Gross” As The Other Movies

Human Centipede 3 (Final Sequence)

In the genre of movies involving people being sewn together mouth-to-ass, director Tom Six is the undisputed king. He’s made a niche career out of a couple of truly revolting films, staring with “The Human Centipede (First Sequence),” which was followed by “The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence).” Now he’s bringing the third installment “The Human Centipede 3 (Final Sequence)” and your first look at the movie doesn’t have anyone on their knees.

In fact, Six reveals that you might be able to leave the barf bag at home this time around. “THC Part 3 will be totally different from Parts 1 and 2 and certainly not as gross,” he told EW. “But it will be the most controversial one politically-wise. It will have a lot of self-mockery and will be the most darkly comical of the three. Parts 1 and 2 have a very European feel. Part 3 is very American with the highest budget, a big movie score, widescreen, and an XXL human centipede. It’s set in an American maximum security prison in the middle of the desert. Plot-wise I won’t share details yet but if you let your imagination run wild you might get ideas.”

Shot in the U.S. and starring the returning Dieter Laser (playing a different character this time), Oscar nominee Eric Roberts (as “an a–hole governor”), porn star Bree OlsonRobert Lasardo and Six himself, it will feature the already discussed 500-person long chain. And the director says it was filmed the old-fashioned way, with lots people and zero digital effects. And this may not be the last one.

“Well, I planned it to be a trilogy,” Six said. “Three movies that can be literally connected (like a human centipede) and form one 4.5 hour movie. But never say never.” Frightening indeed.

“The Human Centipede (Final Sequence)” will arrive later this year.
