As one Disney movie gears up to head into theatres (“Maleficent“), it means the studio has to get moving on promo-ing their next non-Marvel, non-“Star Wars” contender. And what will that be? Why a live-action reboot of “Cinderella,” and the first teaser trailer has arrived.
Kenneth Branagh gets behind the camera for this one, bringing his Shakespearean chops to the fairy tale that has Lily James cast in the title role. And around her is a pretty solid crew with Cate Blanchett as the Evil Stepmother and “Game Of Thrones” star Richard Madden as the prince, along with Holliday Grainger and Sophie McShera as the stepsisters, with Hayley Atwell also slotted into the film.
