As seen in the trailer for “A Taste of Hunger,” the film is about far more than just one chef (played by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and his attempt to earn acclaim with a new restaurant. The film is primarily a family drama, as we see this drive for perfection start to affect his relationship with his wife and his child. As you might expect, the trailer features plenty of beautiful images of food, but also a heaping helping of the good ol’ fashioned family drama.

Joining Nikolaj Coster-Waldau in the cast of the family drama is Katrine Greis-Rosenthal. ‘Hunger’ is directed by Christoffer Boe, who co-wrote the script alongside Tobias Lindholm. The Danish filmmaker is most recently worked on the film “Journal 64” and previously wrote and directed the series, “Warrior,” which also featured Greis-Rosenthal in the cast.
