Adam Sandler Takes You Back To The '90s With First Teaser For Netflix's 'Sandy Wexler'

As the Sundance Film Festival kicks off today, Netflix is not only bringing a handful of titles to Park City (including the terrific-looking “The Discovery“), but will likely be one of the big buyers, too. But here’s a reminder that at the end of the day, they just want to capture as large an audience as possible.

Adam Sandler has already delivered two movies out of his four-picture deal with the streaming service — “The Ridiculous 6” and “The Do-Over” — and now comes his third, “Sandy Wexler.” It’s another wacky character for Sandler, who once again surrounds himself with a familiar crew of friends to make something that will probably be awful. Here’s the official synopsis:

Sandy Wexler is a talent manager working in Los Angeles in the 1990s who diligently represents a group of eccentric clients on the fringes of show business.  His single-minded devotion is put to the test when he falls in love with his newest client, Courtney Clarke, a tremendously talented singer who he discovers at an amusement park.

Co-starring Jennifer Hudson, Kevin James, Terry Crews, Lamorne Morris, Nick Swardson, Rob Schneider, Jane Seymour, Aaron Neville, Arsenio Hall and more, “Sandy Wexler” arrives on April 14th.
