Today, thanks to Netflix, we can share a new trailer for their upcoming series “Bet” which is a live-action adaptation of the hit Japanese manga “Kakegurui” by Homura Kawamoto and Toru Naomura.
The ten-episode run was helmed by “Warrior Nun” director Simon Barry, who also developed the project that focuses on a group of boarding school students who are participating in an underground gambling ring.
Assembled for the new series, it features an actor lineup such as Miku Martineau (“Kate,” “Star Trek: Section 31”), Ayo Solanke (“Clown In A Cornfield”), Eve Edwards (“The Bad Orphan,” “The Good Doctor”), Clara Alexandrova, Hunter Cardinal, Anwen O’Driscoll, Aviva Mongillo, and Ryan Sutherland.

An executive producing team for “Bet” includes the likes of Barry, Jeff F King (“The Acolyte,” “The Umbrella Academy”), David Fortier (“Orphan Black: Echoes,” “The Next Step”), Ivan Schneeberg, Jon Rutherford, and Nick Nantell.
