There’s no denying that Christopher Nolan lands some major actors for his films. His casts are always incredible. But it looks like he may be outdoing himself for his next film, as we get another A-lister joining the ranks.

According to Variety, Charlize Theron has joined the cast of Christopher Nolan’s next film at Universal. We still don’t know anything about the film, but we do know that Theron is joining Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong’o, and Robert Pattinson as a member of the cast. That’s truly an impressive lineup of folks.
Theron is no stranger to blockbuster roles. Recently, she’s appeared in films such as “Fast X,” “F9,” “The Old Guard,” “The School for Good and Evil,” and a brief appearance in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.” She also has “The Old Guard 2” coming soon. Let’s just say that she doesn’t appear in many indie films anymore.
As mentioned, there is really nothing known about Nolan’s upcoming film. There are all sorts of rumors about what it might be. Is it a vampire film? Is it a film about a helicopter? These have all been rumors, but the reports going around now is that it’s something else altogether. So, we’ll just have to wait and see.
One thing we know for certain is the film is scheduled to get released on July 17, 2026. The film will enter production in the first half of 2025.
