Contest: Win a Copy of Michael Bay's 'Ambulance'

Michael Bay‘s bombastic, high-energy, melodramatic films tend to produce polarizing responses to his work. Yet, no matter what camp you’re in, there is one thing you can’t deny: Bay knows how to make a thrilling movie and craft action like no other. His most recent film, “Ambulance,” which was released in theatres in April of this year, checks all those boxes, features a terrific cast, and is finally available for purchase on streaming platforms and DVD.

“Ambulance” is based on the original story and screenplay for the 2005 Danish film “Ambulance” written by Laurits Munch-Petersen and Lars Andreas Pedersen. The story follows Will Sharp (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II), a military veteran desperate for money who turns to his adoptive brother Danny (Jake Gyllenhaal) for help. Because he is a career criminal, Danny offers Will a huge score instead of help, which Will reluctantly agrees to. When their plan starts to unravel, the desperate brothers hijack an ambulance to evade city-wide law enforcement response and attempt to escape. Eiza González co-stars in a critical role too.

The recently released 4K Ultra HD DVD includes special features including:

  • Aerial Assult – Learn how the breath-taking, heart-stopping aerial images in “Ambulance” were captured.
