Alex Garland's 'Devs' & More FX Series Moving Exclusively To Hulu In 2020

With HBO getting a prime slot on the upcoming HBO Max, FX is feeling a bit behind in the race to be the most respected place for curated, prestige TV. Well, thanks to the new Disney overlords, FX is now getting the prime streaming destination it was looking for, on Hulu. And to kick things off, some of the most anticipated FX series that were coming to TVs in 2020 are now going to be exclusively streaming on the platform.

According to THR, FX has teamed with streamer for a new streaming destination, aptly titled FX on Hulu. As you might expect, the basic gist is that all your favorite FX series from yesterday and today will be found on the Disney-owned service. However, it also means that there will be shows that FX produces that will only be seen on Hulu, without a typical network debut, including Alex Garland’sDevs,” “Mrs. America” starring Cate Blanchett, “The Old Man” starring Jeff Bridges, and “A Teacher” starring Kate Mara.

It’s been assumed for months now, since Disney bought Fox, that Hulu and FX were a clear match. It’s just now, that’s official. FX on Hulu is expected to launch in March 2020. It’s unclear which series will debut during that time, but we’ve already seen a teaser for “Devs,” so that makes sense.
