'Isle Of Dogs' Clip: Wes Anderson's New Animated Movie Gets Bloody

Attention to the parents out there. If you thought “Isle Of Dogs” might be the kind of movie you could take your kids and enjoy yourself, you might want to press pause on that idea. The MPAA has stamped with film with a PG-13 rating for “thematic elements and violent images.” That’s right, things are going to get bloody.

The first clip for Wes Anderson‘s highly anticipated new movie has arrived, and it features a dog rumble that ends with some blood shed and body parts maimed. It’s not exactly graphic, but young ones perhaps aren’t ready for canine carnage, no matter how slight. I’d also assume this segment is indicative of the overall tone of the picture, and honestly, I’m digging it and can’t wait for the whole thing.

Featuring the voices of  F. Murray Abraham, Bob Balaban, Bryan Cranston, Greta Gerwig, Jeff Goldblum, Akira Ito, Scarlett Johansson, Harvey Keitel, Bill Murray, Kunichi Nomura, Edward Norton, Yoko Ono, Koyu Rankin, Liev Schreiber, Tilda Swinton, Akira Takayama and Frank Wood, “Isle Of Dogs” premieres at the Berlin International Film Festival and opens on March 23rd.
