‘Killing Eve’ Season 3 Trailer: Hit Drama To Premiere 2 Weeks Early As People Stay Indoors

One of the year’s biggest TV returns is the upcoming season of “Killing Eve.” The Emmy-winning season has a new head writer (as it does each year) and continues the story of its two leading ladies and the complicated, psychological web they weave. And since the world is starving for content right now, as people continue to self-quarantine due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, AMC Networks is ready to give fans Season 3 a little early.

According to Deadline, BBC America and AMC will both begin to air Season 3 of “Killing Eve” on April 12, instead of the previously announced launch date of April 26.

Sarah Barnett, president of AMC Networks Entertainment Group and AMC Studios, said, “We know how adored this series is and we know how keen people are for great content right now. This season of ‘Killing Eve’ digs deep psychologically, and with actors like Sandra Oh, Jodie Comer and Fiona Shaw the results are nothing short of astonishing. We literally couldn’t wait for fans to see it.”

The series stars Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer as two women, an ex-MI6 operative and an assassin, respectively, obsessed with each other, as they attempt to live their lives without each other constantly complicating matters. Joining Oh and Comer in the cast are actors Fiona Shaw, Kim Bodnia, Harriet Walter, Danny Sapani, Gemma Whelan, Camille Cottin, Steve Pemberton, Raj Bajaj, Turlough Convery, Pedja Bjelac, and Evgenia Dodina.
