'Locke & Key' Season 2 Teaser: Netflix's Fantasy Series Returns Just In Time For Halloween

After years of false starts and multiple networks, Joe Hill’sLocke & Key” finally was adapted for TV and brought to Netflix last year. And apparently, the show was a big enough hit to warrant a Season 2, coming just in time for Halloween.

As seen in the teaser for Season 2, “Locke & Key” continues to follow the story of the Locke children and their magical Keyhouse. After a tragedy in their family, the kids move into their ancestral home and realize that the house is filled with magical keys that each have their own special abilities. So, the children use their keys to help fight off the evil that is coming for that very same power.

The cast includes Darby Stanchfield, Connor Jessup, Emilia Jones, Jackson Robert Scott, Petrice Jones, Bill Heck, Thomas Mitchell Barnett, Coby Bird, Jesse Camacho, Asha Bromfield, Griffin Gluck, Hallea Jones, Aaron Ashmore, Liyuo Abere, and Brendan Hines. “Locke & Key” comes from co-showrunners, Carlton Cuse and Meredith Averil. Cuse, of course, is the famed producer of series such as “Lost,” “Bates Motel,” and the recent “Jack Ryan.”

Season 2 of “Locke & Key” arrives on Netflix on October 22. You can watch the teaser below.

Here’s the synopsis:

After their father is murdered under mysterious circumstances, the three Locke siblings and their mother move into their ancestral home, Keyhouse, which they discover is full of magical keys that may be connected to their father’s death. As the Locke children explore the different keys and their unique powers, a mysterious demon awakens — and will stop at nothing to steal them. From Carlton Cuse (Lost, Bates Motel) and Meredith Averill (The Haunting of Hill House), Locke & Key is a coming-of-age mystery about love, loss, and the unshakable bonds that define family.
