'MacGruber' Music Video: Maya Rudolph Sings A Song About "The Greatest Man To Ever Walk Planet Earth"

So, “MacGruber” is expected to arrive on Peacock on December 16. The TV series is a direct sequel to the decade-old film of the same name and follows the title character as he continues to kick ass and save the world. In anticipation of the upcoming TV series debuting this week, Peacock has released a special music video for “MacGruber,” featuring Maya Rudolph singing a song that gets you completely up to date with what happened in the film so that you’re ready to go for the series. Why Rudolph? Well, she plays MacGruber’s dead wife Casey in the original film and shows up from time to time as a ghost. And now, the ghost of MacGruber’s dead wife is here to explain the plot of the film and why she was killed by the “piece of shit” Dieter Von Cunth (Val Kilmer). 

The new “MacGruber” TV series stars Will Forte in the title role alongside Ryan Phillippe, Kristen Wiig, Sam Elliott, Laurence Fishburne, and Billy Zane. “MacGruber” debuts on Peacock on December 16. You can watch the informative music video below.
