'The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel' Season 2 Trailer: Everyone's Favorite Housewife-Turned-Comedian Is Back

It seems like the hit Amazon Prime Video series “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” snuck up on audiences last fall when it premiered on the streaming service. With no massive A-list stars, the series built a big following based on the incredible quality of the series. Now, with a ton of Emmy nominations under its belt, the series returns soon with season 2.

In the first teaser for season 2 of “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” we see more of what expect from the series. There’s the unmistakable style of the show, ripped from the America of 60 years ago, the amazing cast, and of course, the jokes. The series follows the titular Midge Maisel as she figures out her life in the late-‘50s New York, as she adopts a new found career as a stand-up comedian.

“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” stars Rachel Brosnahan, Alex Borstein, and Tony Shalhoub, among others. As mentioned, the series has earned a number of Emmy nominations, including Best Comedy Series, Lead Actress, Supporting Actor, Supporting Actress, and even Guest Actress. Like we said, the cast is stacked.

But when her life takes a surprise turn, she has to quickly decide what else she’s good at – and going from housewife to stand-up comic is a wild choice to everyone but her. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is written and directed by Amy Sherman-Palladino (Gilmore Girls).
