Listen To The Complete 'Mary Poppins Returns' Soundtrack In Preparation For Disney's Sequel

As we enter the weekend, you’re probably in need of some new songs to play as loud as you can while you drive with your windows down (well, it’s winter, so it depends on where you’re located, but you get the idea). You’re in luck! You see, now available to stream from the comfort of your own home, in your headphones, or through your car’s speakers, Disney has released the soundtrack for the upcoming film “Mary Poppins Returns.”

For those not familiar with the film, clearly your childhood was sad. Kidding aside, “Mary Poppins Returns” features Emily Blunt as the titular character, taking over for Julie Andrews (who gave a classic performance decades ago) and Lin-Manuel Miranda as the lovable chimney-sweep. The classic film was best known for its incredibly mixture of animation and live-action, the singing and dancing, and of course, the songs.

Disney is hoping that the studio’s new sequel can serve up classics to go toe-to-toe with songs like “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” and “A Spoonful of Sugar.” In addition to the new musical numbers featuring the stars giving it their all, the soundtrack for “Mary Poppins Returns” also features a listen to the score for the family film.

With early buzz saying that Blunt’s iteration as the classic nanny is a new classic, Disney fans are probably going to eat up this new soundtrack, with some of these songs being in constant rotation this holiday season.

“Mary Poppins Returns” hits theaters on December 19.
