As seen in the trailer for “Mosul,” the film follows the true story of the Nineveh SWAT team, a group of police officers that form as opposition to ISIS. The SWAT join forces to protect their home city of Mosul and defend the honor of their friends and family that the terrorist group killed. With no Americans or Western forces to help, SWAT wages a bloody war with ISIS.

“Mosul” stars Suhail Dabbach, Adam Bessa, and Is’haq Elias. The film marks the feature debut for filmmaker Matthew Michael Carnahan. Previously, Carnahan wrote features such as “World War Z,” “21 Bridges,” “Dark Waters,” and “Deepwater Horizon.” As mentioned, this is yet another film from producers Joe and Anthony Russo, who previously produced the Netflix hit film, “Extraction,” which was the directorial debut for another filmmaker, Sam Hargrave.

Netflix is set to release “Mosul” on November 26. You can watch the new trailer below.
