Over 40 New Images From Paul Thomas Anderson's 'Inherent Vice'

Inherent ViceChristopher Nolan‘s "Interstellar" isn’t the only movie this year to give you a choice of viewing options. Paul Thomas Anderson‘s "Inherent Vice" may not be screening in IMAX, but it seems in select cinemas you’ll have the choice to watch it on 70mm. Indeed, as Cigarettes & Red Vines reveals, The Arclight in Hollywood will be showing the movie in the analog format, and we’d reckon more cities will follow.

But for those of us not in the key markets that will get the movie in limited release next weekend, for now we’ll have to let this plethora of new images from the movie hold us over. And they are a great tease, letting us into PTA’s wacky Thomas Pynchon adaptation that we called "Big, wonderfully oddball, sometimes confounding and beautiful." Sounds about right.

"Inherent Vice" hits December 12 in limited release and goes wide on January 9th. Check out the interactive official website with character bios for each member of the sprawling ensemble.
