Poster Party: New One Sheets For 'Iron Man 3,' 'Trance,' 'Spring Breakers,' 'The Great Gatsby' & More

nullWe're in that momentary lull, just after the Oscars, and right before the spring and summer blockbuster season arrives, and some new posters are here to prime you with thrills, superheroes, scares and more. So strap in and prepare thy eyeballs.

First up, Empire has dropped yet another poster for "Iron Man 3," this time featuring our hero not beaten up or damaged, but instead looking ready to rumble. His house is falling into the ocean behind him, but bro has seven Iron Mans or Iron Men backing him up. Has Tony Stark built up an army of mecha-suit heroes? Is this just a case of Photoshop cut and paste gone awry? Where did smarmy, self-satisfied Tony Stark go? All will be revealed on May 3rd.null

nullDanny Boyle's "Trance" keeps coming, and two more mesmerizing posters have arrived for the art world thriller. Indeed, the genre flick finds Vincent Cassel twisting the arm of auction house worker James McAvoy to assist in a heist, and then he twists the arm further when his reluctant cirminal colleague can't remember where the loot is stashed.  A therapist (Rosario Dawson) is enlisted to help unlock the mystery from McAvoy's brain, but that's just the start of more trouble to come. "Trance" puts you under on April 5th — posters below along with a couple new pics [HeyUGuys/Radio Times/Handbag]nullnullnullnull

Seriously, has any Harmony Korine movie received the kind of marketing "Springs Breakers" has? You could put the promo budgets together on all of his films to date and it probably won't match whatever is being spent on his neon spring romp. But then again, his previous movies weren't led by four hot young things in bikinis, and of course, they continue to feature front and center in the numerous images and one sheets for the movie, two more of which are featured here. "Spring Breakers" gets dirty nationwide on March 22nd.nullnullnull

The marketing machine has momentarily quieted for Baz Luhrmann's "The Great Gatsby." The delayed/highly anticipated film is the big question mark of the year — is it a garish disaster, an Oscar contender, a summer hit or something in between? Undoubtedly, it's gonna look dazzling (please see Carey Mulligan above) but until we get a further look, we'll have to be content with this "images-from-the-other-posters-combined-into-one" poster.nullnull

Lastly, a little bit of a horror treat for you. "Open Windows" — in case you forgot — is a tiny, contained thriller on the way from "Timecrimes" director Nacho Vigilando and it's his English language debut. Former porn star Sasha Grey and current hobbit Elijah Wood star in the movie about a man who gets on the interwebs to track down his girlfriend who has been kidnapped. And you thought spyware was trouble. It's like "The Net" for our current times or something. No release date yet, but the early imagery suggests that it will be using the assets of at least one of its stars to drum up interest.null
