Ray Fisher Fires Back At Warner Bros.' "Scattershot Attempt To Discredit" Him By Claiming He Hasn't Met With 'Justice League' Abuse Investigator

If you thought the battle for “Justice League” and Ray Fisher‘s allegations of abusive behavior on set wasn’t already messy enough, Fisher just disproved Warner Bros. claims that the actor hadn’t met with the third-party investigator, by showing an email he sent to his team last month. Fisher also fired back against Warner Bros. and their “desperate and scattershot attempt to discredit” him.

To recap, on Friday, Fisher sent out a tweet accusing current DC Films President Walter Hamada of attempting to “throw Joss Whedon and Jon Berg under the bus in hopes that I would relent on Geoff Johns.” Shortly after, Warner Bros., sent out a statement of their own, claiming that not only were Fisher’s claims about Hamada were untrue, but Fisher had declined every attempt by the investigators to meet with him. The statement ends saying that Warner Bros. “remains committed to investigating any specific and credible allegation of misconduct, which thus far Mr. Fisher has failed to provide.”

Well, it didn’t take long before Fisher fired back, going back to Twitter on Saturday afternoon to post a screenshot of an email he sent to his team and SAG-AFTRA shortly after meeting with the investigator via Zoom on August 26. In the tweet, Fisher calls out Warner Bros. for their “desperate and scattershot attempt to discredit me to continue protecting those in power.”

“Just got off the line with the investigator. Had to end the interview early before going into detail with him,” the email states. “He also had another person of the line as a witness which we weren’t made aware of. I told him I needed to have a rep on the line as security for myself. He tried to keep me on the line, but I told him I would need to consult my team before proceeding.”

You can see why Warner Bros. would use this to say that Fisher was uncooperative, but to say he declined to meet the investigator? This case certainly gets getting messier. Fisher then adds a second tweet, where he says that Warner Bros. Pictures “has escalated this to an entirely different level, but I’m ready to meet the challenge.”
