Warner Bros. is getting their ducks in a row for David Ayer‘s "Suicide Squad." Margot Robbie has pretty much been cast, Will Smith and Tom Hardy are both said to be receiving offers for the movie, and Jesse Eisenberg is chatting with the studio about reprising his Lex Luthor role in the film. And now another name is entering the mix.
Latino Review reports that model/actress Cara Delevingne is being "seriously" looked at for a part in the movie. There’s no word on what the specifics of the part are, but the site speculates it might be Harley Quinn, an accomplice and girlfriend to the Joker. She has been rumored for "Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice," which "Suicide Squad" will follow. So, just sayin’. Again, this is just a rumor, so who knows, but it’s something to think about. If you’re wondering whether or not Delevingne has the chops to pull it off, she was surprisingly pretty damn good in Michael Winterbottom‘s otherwise tedious "The Face Of An Angel," and she also appeared in a small role in Joe Wright‘s "Anna Karenina."
"Suicide Squad" opens on August 5, 2016.
