“Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” tells the story of a down-on-his-luck TV actor and his stunt-double best friend as they deal with the ever-changing Hollywood of 1969. And as they maneuver this new Hollywood, the pair also has to deal with the fact that the actor’s neighbor, Sharon Tate, was just murdered at the hands of Charles Manson’s “Family.” And for those familiar with the Manson murders, you’re probably well aware that Tate was newly married to Polanksi, and the murder happened at the director’s home.

Also joining the cast for the film are Sydney Sweeney, of “The Handmaid’s Tale” fame (as well as the severely underrated “Everything Sucks!”), and Danny Strong. Strong is the creator of Fox’s “Empire,” as well as a writer on “Hunger Games: Mockingjay” and Showtime’s “Billions.”
