The music video is for the Jimmy Buffett/Snoop Dogg collaboration (yes, you read that right, the song is co-written by the duo and performed by Buffett), titled “Moonfog.”
The lyric video shows some glimpses at McConaughey’s performance as Moon Dog in “The Beach Bum,” while also giving fans of Buffett’s music a new song to hum along with for the rest of the day. And though the idea of Buffett, Snoop, and McConaughey combining for a new project sounds completely nuts, it works and illustrates just why Korine’s latest is too strange to pass up.
