Watch: Benedict Cumberbatch Explores Human Equality In Clip From 'The Imitation Game' Plus New Featurette

The Imitation Game

Number four on our list of 11 indie films you must see in November and winner of the People’s Choice Award at the Toronto International Film Festival, “The Imitation Game” is a World War II procedural detailing the efforts of cryptanalyst Alan Turing and his mathematically-inclined underlings to decrypt the Nazis’ famed Enigma machine and turn the tides in England’s favor.

"The Imitation Game" stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Keira Knightley, and a new clip and making-of featurette have just arrived. The clip shows Cumberbatch’s Turing discussing the equality of every human being, despite our vast and varied abilities and differences. Meanwhile, the featurette shows the cast and crew explaining the U.K.’s (specifically Turing’s) role in WW2’s Grand Alliance. Actor Mark Strong says of the film, “There’s something about telling a story that’s true that has extra resonance.”

“The Imitation Game” decrypts the code on November 21st.
