Watch: Bryan Cranston & Alexandre Desplat Talk 'Godzilla' In 2 Featurettes Plus New Pics

Godzilla

Godzilla” stomps into theatres tomorrow night, and while our own Rodrigo Perez didn’t dig the film, saying that it “abandons most of its absorbing emotional legwork for a fairly rote and straightforward rock ‘em, sock ‘em monster movie,” the latter quotient is what most people are likely for. And we suppose on that end, Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures‘ blockbuster will deliver. But in case you’re on the fence about checking it out, some new promo material is here to kick you in the pants to buy a ticket.

Bryan Cranston leads things off talking about the monster movie, and what he surmises Walter White would do if the giant lizard indeed suddenly appeared one day. Meanwhile, composer Alexandre Desplat (via Film Music Reporter) reveals his attraction to doing the blockbuster, while director Gareth Edwards also weighs in on his choice of composer. There’s a good smattering of footage in those featurettes, and some new pics of the monster and from behind-the-scenes (via Fuck Yeah Directors) also give you a taste of what’s coming.

“Godzilla” opens on some screens at 7 PM tomorrow night and everywhere on Friday, May 16th.
