'Your Honor' Trailer: Bryan Cranston Is A Judge That Will Do Anything To Protect His Son In Showtime's New Series

Do you know what’s bad? Hitting and killing an innocent bystander with your car. What’s worse is driving away after the crime is committed. Compounding that problem would be if your dad is actually a respected judge in the town you live in. And the icing on the cake would be if the person you killed is the son of a crime boss. But that’s the situation facing the young man at the center of the new show, “Your Honor.”

As seen in the trailer for “Your Honor,” the Showtime limited series follows the story of a young man that is involved in a deadly hit and run, who then goes to his judge father and asks if he can help cover it up. The moral dilemma facing the judge, played by the incomparable Bryan Cranston, is shattering, as the man who swore an oath to uphold the law is now a willing accomplice in a deadly crime. Of course, that’s just the beginning of the troubles that face the two in “Your Honor.”

Joining Cranston in the cast are Hunter Doohan, Michael Stuhlbarg, Hope Davis, Carmen Ejogo, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Sofia Black-D’Elia, Amy Landecker, Margo Martindale, Lorraine Toussaint, Chet Hanks, Lamar Johnson, and Lilli Kay. “Your Honor” comes from TV veteran Peter Moffat, who serves as writer, producer, and showrunner. Edward Berger directs the first three episodes.
