“Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy”
From 1972 to 1978, John Wayne Gacy murdered 33 young men, burying their bodies beneath his home while posing as a civic leader, volunteer, and even a clown for sick children. “Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy” explores the horror of his double life, blending the devastating stories of victims’ families with an examination of the systemic failures that allowed his crimes to go undetected for years. The eight-episode limited series is led by showrunner, writer, and executive producer Patrick Macmanus (“Dr. Death,” “The Girl From Plainville”). The cast features Michael Chernus, Gabriel Luna, James Badge Dale, Michael Angarano, Chris Sullivan, and Marin Ireland.
Release Date: October 16 on Peacock.

Nobody Wants This
Kristen Bell and Adam Brody return for the Emmy-nominated series “Nobody Wants This.” Created by Erin Foster, season two picks up after the major decision made at the end of season one, with Noah possibly forgoing his role as a rabbi. The series will follow the ongoing development of Noah and Sasha’s relationship and how, if at all, it survives the torrent of their different lives and family meddling.
Release Date: Season 2 premieres October 23 on Netflix.

It: Welcome to Derry
Following the release of “The Life of Chuck” and “The Long Walk” and leading up to the release of “Running Man,” the HBO prequel series “It: Welcome to Derry” fits right in with the media dominance of Stephen King in 2025. The horror series, based on the novel by King, takes place before the first “It” film, with the arrival of a new family to Derry corresponding with the disappearance of a young boy. Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, Taylour Paige, James Remar, and Stephen Rider star, along with Bill Skarsgård reprising his role as Pennywise.
