The Voice of Hind Rajab
An official selection at the 2025 Venice Film Festiva,l where it received the longest standing ovation to date and backed by celebrity executive producers such as Brad Pitt, Joaquin Phoenix, Rooney Mara, Jonathan Glazer, and more, “The Voice of Hind Rajab” is a powerful story about one young subject. The docudrama, written and directed by Kaouther Ben Hania (“Four Daughters”), follows the Red Crescent response to the killing of a five-year-old Palestinian girl, Hind Rajaba, by the Israel Defense Forces during the Israeli invasion of the Gaza Strip. 
Release Date: In theaters December 17 via Willa

The Housemaid
Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried star in the latest film from Paul Feig, “The Housemaid.” Based on the novel of the same name, the psychological thriller follows a young woman with a troubled past who becomes a live-in housemaid for a wealthy family, slowly unraveling the secrets beneath the picture-perfect facade. Adapted by Rebecca Sonnenshine, the cast also includes Brandon Sklenar, Michele Morrone, and Elizabeth Perkins.
Release Date: In theaters December 19 via Lionsgate

Avatar: Fire and Ash
James Cameron’s epic fantasy series returns with “Avatar: Fire and Ash.” Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, and Sigourney Weaver return in a story co-written by Cameron, Rick Jaffa, and Amanda Silver. The film takes place a year following the events of “Avatar: The Way of Water: as Jake and Neytiri’s family must process grief while encountering a new, aggressive threat to Pandora.

Is This Thing On?
Will Arnett stars in the latest film directed by Bradley Cooper,Is This Thing On?” about a man, facing middle age, who finds comfort in the New York comedy scene. Loosely inspired by the comedian Josh Bishop and based on a screenplay written by Cooper, Arnett, and Mark Chappel, the film follows Arnett’s character as he processes the dissolution of his marriage through stand-up. Laura Dern, Andra Day, Cooper, Amy Sedaris, Sean Hayes, Christine Ebersole, and Ciarán Hinds star. 
Release Date: In theaters December 19 via Searchlight Pictures

Cover Up
Directed by Laura Poitras (“All the Beauty and the Bloodshed”) and Mark Obenhaus, the documentary “Cover Up” examines the work of journalist Seymour Hersh. Premiering at the 2025 Venice Film Festival, the film documents Hersh’s investigative journalism career, whose work covered the U.S. Army torture scandals during the Vietnam War and Iraq War. 
Release Date: In theaters December 19, before streaming on Netflix December 25.
