Blumhouse Productions and writer/director Curry Barker are behind the upcoming horror feature “Obsession,” which will be arriving in theaters next spring. The film’s cast features Michael Johnston, Inde Navarrette, Cooper Tomlinson, Megan Lawless, and former late-night sidekick Andy Richter.
A producing team is led by James Harris of Teashop Productions, Haley Nicole Johnson at Under the Shell, Christian Mercuri via Capstone Pictures, and Roman Viaris, with a group of executive producers consisting of Jason Blum of Blumhouse, Leonora Darby (Teashop), Mark Lane (Teashop), David Haring (Capstone), and Ruzanna Kegeyan (Capstone Pictures).

After breaking the mysterious “One Wish Willow” to win his crush’s heart, a hopeless romantic finds himself getting exactly what he asked for but soon discovers that some desires come at a dark, sinister price.
Other Blumhouse films on the horizon include the Emma Tammi-directed “Five Nights at Freddy’s 2” coming out this week, along with some of their 2026 lineup consisting of Kate Dolan‘s “SOULM8TE,” Lee Cronin‘s reboot of “The Mummy,” Jacob Chase‘s untitled “Indidious” sequel, and Rob Savage‘s “Other Mommy” starring Jessica Chastain.
