21 November Films To See: ‘Die My Love,’ ‘Jay Kelly’ ‘Hamnet,’ ‘Knives Out 3’ & More

Jay Kelly
George Clooney leans into his movie star persona by playing an aging movie star in “Jay Kelly,” from director Noah Baumbach. The film explores the dynamic relationship between a star and fame, their careers, and the manager’s loyalty. Adam Sandler, Laura Dern, and Billy Crudup round out the cast. 
Release Date: In theaters November 14, before streaming on Netflix on December 5. 

Sirāt
Directed by Óliver Laxe (“Fire Will Come”) and co-written by Laxe and Santiago Fillol, “Sirāt” won the Jury Prize at the 2025 Cannes. Sergi López and Bruno Núñez Arjona star as a father and son who are on a desperate mission to find their missing daughter and sister. Richard Bellamy, Stefania Gadda, Joshua Liam Henderson, Tonin Janvier, and Jade Oukid star. 
Release Date: In theaters November 14 via NEON. 

Rebuilding
Josh O’Connor is having a busy fall with two films out in November following the releases of “The Mastermind” and “The History of Sound.” First up this month is “Rebuilding” from “A Love Song” director Max Walker-Silverman. O’Connor plays a cowboy who, following a wildfire that takes his ranch, finds himself in a FEMA camp where he discovers a new community that includes his daughter and ex-wife. 
Release Date: In theaters November 14 via Bleecker Street

Left Handed Girl
Directed by Tsou Shih-Ching and co-written and produced by Sean Baker (the two having directed “Take Out” together in 2004), “Left Handed Girl” follows a single mother and her two daughters as they arrive in Taipei. As they attempt to open a small restaurant, all three must adapt to their new locations and lifestyles. The film stars Janel Tsai, Shih-Yuan Ma, Nina Ye, Brando Huang, Akio Chen, and Xin-Yan Chao
Release Date: In theaters November 14, before streaming on Netflix on November 28. 

Wicked: For Good” 
Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande return as Elphaba and Glinda in “Wicked: For Good,” which adapts the second act of the musical. Directed by Jon Chu, the story follows Elphaba as she is ostracized and dubbed the Wicked Witch of the West, with the narrative set before and during the events of “The Wizard of Oz,” effectively merging the two stories. Jeff Goldblum, Jonathan Bailey, Michelle Yeoh, Bowen Yang, Ethan Slater, and Marissa Bode all reprise their roles. 
Release Date: In theaters November 21 via Universal Pictures
