Often, the life of a flight attendant is thought to be pretty great. Sure, you have to act as a server while on the actual flights, dealing with idiot guests, crying babies, and disgusting messes. But the perk is pretty great, as you are able to travel all around the country, or even internationally. That said, the life of a flight attendant might also include murder, as seen in the upcoming HBO Max thriller series, aptly titled, “The Flight Attendant.”
The trailer for “The Flight Attendant” does a bang-up job setting up the mystery at the center of the series. The story follows a flight attendant (Kaley Cuoco, of “Big Bang Theory” fame), who meets a handsome man on a flight and ends up having a long night of drinking and sex. However, when she wakes up the next day, she sees that the man has been brutally murdered and guess what? She’s suspect #1.
The series stars Cuoco alongside Michiel Huisman, Rosie Perez, Zosia Mamet, Michelle Gomez, T.R. Knight, Colin Woodell, Merle Dandridge, Griffin Matthews, and Nolan Gerard Funk. Filmmaker Susanna Fogel directed the first two episodes of the series. The director is probably best known for her feature film, “The Spy Who Dumped Me,” but more recently, she’s helmed episodes of series such as “Amazing Stories” and “Utopia.”
“The Flight Attendant” premieres on HBO Max on November 26, with batches of episodes dropping weekly until the finale debuts on December 17. You can watch the trailer below.
