Brad Pitt's 'Fury' To Undergo Reshoots Next Month; Plus New Poster

Brad Pitt, Fury'Described as a "character study with action sequences" in the sizzle reel that dropped earlier this month, David Ayer‘s WWII tank pic "Fury" seems to be rolling toward awards season contention. But it would appear that the film needs a few more tweaks before it can hit theatres.

Showbiz 411 reports that starting next week, "Fury" will undergo reshoots with casting underway for two actors to play SS officers. Now, Roger Friedman is taking the alarmist view and making suggestions that this could mean problems with the film. Perhaps. But what’s often forgotten is that some films actually put reshoots into their schedule, and that could be the case here. Or maybe it’s just an extra scene to add needed context. Either way, with shooting set for Los Angeles, it would appear that it’s not major setpieces that need to be done, perhaps more fine tuning. And it’s not even clear if star Brad Pitt himself will be part of them.

So the short version? "Fury" is going to be shooting some new stuff starting week. Whether or not it affects the November 14th release date for the movie, we’ll just have to wait and see. Update: A new poster has also has arrived via Movielicious.Brad Pitt, Fury, poster
