Brit Marling & Jack Huston Team For Dramedy 'Posthumous'

Brit Marling Jack Huston, PosthumousBrit Marling doesn't quit. Perhaps in a quest to out-Chastain her competition, the actress keeps lining up projects. And after recently signing to "The Grace That Keeps This World" with Glenn Close and James Franco, and the Terrence Malick-produced "The Green Blade Rises," she has added another movie to her hefty calendar.

Marling will team with "Boardwalk Empire" star Jack Huston for the dramedy "Posthumous." Set to be directed by Lulu Wang (who wrote the script and is making her feature debut), the story follows a struggling artist (Huston) who sees the demand and value of his art go up in price when he is presumed dead. He keeps up the rumor by posing as his own brother, but runs up against a reporter (Marling) who "begins to show him the real value of life and art." Art world movies generally have a pretty limited audience, and this sounds like it's on the borderline of parody and earnestness, but we like the leads, so we'll see how it goes.

No word yet on when it will lens, but we're sure Marling will find a space somewhere on her slate to slide it in. [Deadline]
