According to THR, Tomlin has teamed with Miramax to write, produce, and direct his upcoming film “Mother/Android.” The feature is set to star Chloë Grace Moretz as a pregnant woman that goes on a harrowing journey with her boyfriend to escape their country, which has gone to war against artificial intelligence. And fresh off their collaboration on “The Batman,” the report also claims that Reeves is on board to produce Tomlin’s new film.

As mentioned, Tomlin is probably best known for his writing gigs on “Project Power” and “The Batman.” However, in addition to “Mother/Android,” he’s also writing the script for the upcoming “Mega Man” adaptation, as well as a new series based on the comic “Fear Agent,” which he is working on at Amazon with Seth Rogen’s production company.

Moretz has been a big name in films and TV shows dating back to the mid-2000s. She’s probably best known for her role in the “Kick-Ass” films, as well as “Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising” and the remake of “Carrie.” Most recently, she’s ventured out and starred in films such as the “Suspiria” remake, “The Miseducation of Cameron Post,” and “Greta.” She’s expected to star in the forthcoming feature, “Shadow in the Cloud.”

It’s unclear when “Mother/Android” will be released or when production will begin, but we’ll definitely keep an eye out for any news.
