'Evil Dead' And 'Big Bad Wolves' Directors Rumored For 'Justice League Dark'

nullThe rumor machine continues to churn for "Justice League Dark." Thus far, we’ve seen a smattering of possible casting choices float by, including Colin Farrell for John Constantine, Ewan McGregor for Jason Blood, Monica Bellucci for Madame Xanadu, Ben Mendelsohn as Anton Arcane, and Ron Perlman as Swamp Thing. But who is going to get behind the camera?

Well, according to JoBlo, they’re hearing that Fede Alvarez of "Evil Dead" fame, and Aharon Keshales and Navot Papushado, who delivered the cult fave "Big Bad Wolves," are the "top contenders." The qualification here must be the ability to handle darker material, because no one particularly liked "Evil Dead." But Alvarez did have a way with grit, as did Keshales and Papushado with their picture. However, with word that Mendelsohn won’t decide until he knows who’s directing, these names don’t exactly seem like the kind that would attract A-list or picky talent.

Anyway, there’s no release date yet for the movie and so we’re likely in the very early stages of all this coming together. Thoughts? Let us know below.
