First Look And Featurette: Daniel Craig Is Back As Bond In 'Spectre'

SpectreThe year of spy movies began last month rather ignominiously with "Mortdecai," and continues this weekend with "Kingsman: The Secret Service." This summer will deliver the spoof "Spy," and the return of Ethan Hunt in "Mission: Impossible 5," before capping off with the granddaddy of them all, "Spectre." And today, the first look at the latest adventure of 007 is here.

Sam Mendes returns to the director’s chair, with Daniel Craig once again the suave spy, and Christoph Waltz, Ralph Fiennes, Monica Bellucci, Léa Seydoux, Dave Bautista, Ben Whishaw, Andrew Scott, Naomi Harris, and more, slotting roles in this new tale of global intrigue. Here’s the official synopsis:

A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.

A new featurette has dropped for the movie too with Craig, Seydoux, Bautista, and Mendes taking viewers on location to Soelden in Austria, where some of "Spectre" is shooting. “We have to deliver an amazing sequence and this is going to be one of the major action sequences of the movie, a jewel in the crown so to speak. It’s going to be spectacular and Austria seemed to offer everything that we needed to pull it off,” Associate Producer Gregg Wilson teases.

Lastly, Film Divider is bringing up the old rumors that "Spectre" is actually a two-parter, reporting that many of the new cast members have signed up for a second movie, and the finale "will absolutely, definitely leave us waiting for a sequel." Hmm…
