First Look: Zack Snyder Reveals Photo Of Gal Gadot As Wonder Woman; New ‘Batman V. Superman’ Footage Unveiled

Wonder WomanYou want to talk "faster than a speeding bullet?" Warner Bros. kicked off their Hall H Comic-Con Panel unveiling details of “Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice,” yet the super-heroic promotion was over in about 10 minutes. The drive by event consisted of essentially three elements. First, Zack Snyder appeared onstage to reveal photos – including a first look at Gal Gadot in full Wonder Woman armor (which you can see below). Second, Ben Affleck (Batman), Henry Cavill (Superman) and Gadot joined Snyder onstage. Then a brief teaser reel from the movie was screened. And that was that.

While a nerdquake exploded on Twitter by the very act of Snyder walking onstage, the most exciting element proved to be teaser footage showing Batman in full-armor gear (evidently heavily influenced by Frank Miller’s “The Dark Knight Returns” graphic novel), facing off against Superman.

But! No news on “Justice League” was revealed or the rumored solo “Wonder Woman” or “Captain Marvel” films (to name just a few). Holy hell, that was quick, Batman! In terms of substantial announcements, this was a bit of a bust, but studios at Comic-Con tend to hype to the heavens while actually delivering very little in the way of content. The Warner Bros. panel is two hours long, and the trio and Snyder could conceivably come back, but that’s unlikely. Evidently the team was shooting last night, so this was a quick tease to appease fans. ‘Dawn Of Justice’ is scheduled for May, 2016. Tweets are collected below that have images and should give you a flavor for what was trotted out for eager fans.
