'From Black' Trailer: Anna Camp Stars As A Young Mother Who Summons Evil Just To See Her Son Again

How far would you go to get one more chance to hold your missing son? That’s the question at the center of the new horror film, “From Black.” And let’s just say the answer to that question is much more extreme than you might imagine.

As seen in the trailer for “From Black,” the film follows the story of a young mother who is desperate to find closure and answers regarding her son, who has been missing for five years. At the end of her rope, she is presented with a bit of a solution. Perform a ritual, and if it’s successful, then she’ll not only get the chance to see her kid but potentially hold him one more time. As you might expect, this isn’t a completely safe situation, as “From Black” is definitely a horror movie. So, the unexpected consequences of the ritual lead to all sorts of frights.

The film stars Anna Camp, Jennifer Lafleur, John Ales, Travis Hammer, and Richie Montgomery. “From Black” is directed by Thomas Marchese, who also co-wrote the script alongside Jessub Flower

A young mother, crushed by guilt after the disappearance of her young son 5 years previously, is presented with a bizarre offer to learn the truth and set things right. But how far is she willing to go, and is she willing to pay the terrifying price for a chance to hold her boy again?
