'Harpoon' Trailer: Rob Grant's Dark Comedy Finds Three Friends Out For Blood On A Yacht

It’s a tale as old as time. Three friends go off on a beautiful yacht to help mend fences after two of them knock over an urn during a fistfight. You know, exactly the type of hijinks you and your friends get into on a typical Saturday. Well, in the case of the three young people in “Harpoon,” the fistfight is just the beginning of the issues.

As seen in the new trailer for the dark comedy/thriller, Jonah, Sasha, and Richard find themselves on a beautiful yacht in an attempt to help mend their broken friendship after the two men got into a violent altercation. Of course, as you might expect, a simple boat voyage isn’t enough to keep these people from almost killing each other, as the fight for their lives and destruction of their friendship extends to the sea, with bloody, sometimes funny results.

The thriller stars Munro Chambers (if you haven’t seen “Turbo Kid,” do yourself a favor and check it out!), Emily Tyra, Christopher Gray, and Brett Gelman as the Narrator. “Harpoon” is written and directed by Rob Grant. The filmmaker is probably best known for his previous film “Alive” and the 2017 documentary “Fake Blood.”

“Harpoon” arrives in select theaters on October 4 and on Blu-ray/DVD/Digital on October 8.
