'Home Before Dark' Season 2 Trailer: Brooklynn Prince & Jim Sturgess Return In Apple TV+'s Mystery Series

Apple TV+ is still in the early part of its life, but the platform has been around long enough to know what series are hits and which aren’t. And considering “Home Before Dark” is about to debut Season 2, it appears the mystery series is pretty damn popular.

As seen in the trailer for “Home Before Dark” Season 2, Brooklyn Prince returns as a young, investigative journalist (inspired by a real-life girl) that is now set to tackle a powerful corporation. Jim Sturgess stars opposite Prince in the series, playing the young girl’s father. Joining Prince and Sturgess in the cast are Abby Miller, Kylie Rogers, Aziza Scott, Michael Weston, Joelle Carter, Jibrail Nantambu, Deric McCabe, and Rio Mangini.

Here’s the synopsis for Season 2:

In season two of the dramatic mystery series, when a mysterious explosion hits a local farm, reporter Hilde Lisko (Prince) begins an investigation that will lead her to fight a powerful and influential corporation – with the health of her family and Erie Harbor in the balance.

“Home Before Dark” is showrun by Dana Fox, who is probably best known as the writer behind films such as “Isn’t It Romantic,” “How to Be Single,” and the upcoming “Cruella.” On the TV side, she also worked on series such as “Children’s Hospital” and “Ben and Kate.” The Apple TV+ series is executive produced by Jon M. Chu, as well as Joy Gorman Wettels, Howard Deutch, Dara Resnik, Russel Friend, Garrett Lerner, and Sharlene Martin.

“Home Before Dark” Season 2 is set to debut on Apple TV+ on June 11.
