Honest Trailer For 'Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice' Reveals The Battle Of Century Between Critics & Fans

You can at least say the following about “Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice” —everyone is still talking about it nearly four months after it was released. And in a movie culture in which a movie opens and is forgotten in a matter of weeks, that counts for something. But it seems that there is still a clear divide, between those who like Zack Snyder‘s grim superhero showdown and everyone else still puzzling out how a villain’s masterplan involved a jar of urine. That still roiling back and forth won’t stop with this Honest Trailer devoted to the movie.

Certainly, critics and superfans were on opposite sides of the fence with this one, particularly with the latter claiming the extended cut is soooo much better (don’t ask me; Warner Bros. will have to pay me to sit through a half-hour longer version of that film). But neither side is willing to concede that maybe some of it worked (Ben Affleck did a good job) and maybe some of it was super dumb (essentially pausing the narrative to tease other members of the Justice League in a series of hilariously ill conceived computer files).

This video certainly won’t end the debate around the movie, so whatever side you’re on, get ready to get angry below.
